Was very tasty. Also a good address to take away. You miss the ambience but what the hell :) Staff very polite that is very important, otherwise recommendable

The dish was great

Outside of Japan, this is probably the best place to eat sushi. You can't actually eat sushi much fresher than here. And that in a quality that is second to none. The boss can almost always be found here in person and is happy to take a moment to advise you and convince you that there is more than just tuna than sushi. If there were 7 stars, this restaurant would get this too! Of course it is not cheap, but it is also not frozen sushi or french fries.

For the price, I think it's a shame that the staff understands you so badly. Communication when ordering was very difficult and it's just not fun.

This place serves authentic Japanese food that you can find only in Japan. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the owner was so nice to our baby. He even gave us complimentary sushi and biscuits! Everything was top quality! We will return there again. Thank you for everything Maruyasu??

The sushi is super fresh, the service is very welcoming, the plates are beautifully decorated. A clear recommendation.

After I was in Immermanstr. Had a bad experience regarding the bad service, I thought that it might be better in the Schadowplatz Arkaden. Unfortunately not. The women who work behind the counter are completely overwhelmed with the rush and orders and react to every question, order totally irritable and extremely unfriendly. Unfortunately, the ladies speak bad German and English, so they don't understand you properly, but maybe they don't WANT to understand the customer's wishes. We will not come here again and have also advised outside guests not to eat here.

Love this chain. Service top, staff top level, taste great. The owner (I guess it was him) gave us extra sushi for free. Also he gave the children some free biscuits. Thanks.

For me the best sushi in Germany. Higher price level but quality and taste incredibly good! Unfortunately the restaurant is in the basement. Recommendation is to take it with you and eat outside.

Good sushi, but strange boss. Pamped me that I chose the wrong tuna and the Germans are up to his neck because they have no idea about sushi. First, why does he offer the "wrong" tuna and second, if the Germans are so bad, why are you still here?

Best sushi in town! I live in Hamburg, where there are always very good fish! In terms of sushi, however, no Hamburg sushi restaurant comes anywhere near the quality and variety of Maruyasu! We recommend!

Always my favourite. Fresh, loads of choices and not as expensive like others. And the CEO & family are so friendly. I've been there the last 20 years already. Just the best in Düsseldorf or maybe in Germany ;)

The best sushi restaurant in Düsseldorf. All the excellent Tuna options make this place stick out! It can get quite busy in the evening and the atmosphere might be a little loud for some. Worth every cent!

Very delicious Shusi

For me, the tastiest sushi shop in Dusseldorf. Priced perfectly ok and not overpriced as in other shops. You can comfortably sit down or take the food. The boss and his wife stand here partly behind the counter and serve. Simply iconic and delicious! Has more branches spread over Dusseldorf!

Great value and tasty food. We had the chicken tonkotsu ramen, and a chicken avo donburi. Awesome spot.

Good food, but the male staff was very very rude. We were in restaurant not just to enjoy food but also atmosphere. Its a self service restaurant but when we were trying to pay with card it didn’t work which was fine but we were told off by the staff. Was that much of a mistake for not knowing to use cash? We told the staff how we felt disrespected but we were just treated with disrespect one more time with the look and the behaviour. Definitely not how you expect in Japanese restaurant, or any restaurant. Just go if you really need Japanese food and don’t matter with attitude, which you can find much better one definitely in düsseldorf.

Just great food!

Super delicious sushi. The selection is great. It can be freely combined with different menus to choose from. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The advice is top. The Suhsi is fresh and tastes delicious. It can be selected among other things between Suhsi with fish, chicken and vegetarian. All in all, the visit was well worth it. The two from the vicinity of Stuttgart will certainly be back!
